BDBs

Branded Display Banners (BDBs) further connect and engage with audiences, this is an exclusive opportunity to feature your message directly onto our display stands.

BDBs extend Avant Card’s effectiveness as a vehicle for consumer messaging, particularly given we are the exclusive advertising medium in the majority of participating venues. This ensures that brand messages receive maximum exposure and an increased opportunity for engagement.

L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival
Campaign Name: L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2013
On Display: February/March 2013
Distribution: Melbourne in 100 venues

“The L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion decided to use the Branded Display Banner Service in 2013 as we felt that it gave us greater visibility to own the space that housed our Avant Cards, and was prominent in the venues that this was displayed. The BDB service gave us stronger visibility in the locations that they were displayed in. We would definitely consider this as part of the marketing mix, but it will also come down the overall visibility and presence of where these display stands are positioned to ensure that it talks to our target audience.” Tamara Speldewinde, Marketing & Communications Manager – L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival

Sydney Mardi Gras
Campaign Name: Generations of Love (national)
On Display: December/January 2013
Distribution: Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Tasmania, Adelaide and Perth  in 100 venues

“The BDB provided the opportunity for us to extend the advertising opportunity of our campaign and provide our festival with a constant, noticeable presence. Having a strong header dedicated to the 2013 Sydney Mardi Gras festival assisted our campaign to stand out in a crowd, resulting in additional consumer eyeballs and greater awareness of the festival. It is clear the BDBs work to increase visibility and interest in the relating campaign. Results show that the engagement with our Festival Guide in positions using BDBs increased, sometimes almost 3 times the yearly average. Great result.” Brenden Spence, Marketing Manager 2013– Sydney Mardi Gras

“We looked at the opportunities and decided that utilising the BDBs was definitely a good option for exposure. As long as there was Festival content remaining in the stand, potential patrons were able to make a great high impact connection with the collateral and this hopefully had a flow on effect to attendance.” Brad Martin, Marketing Director – Perth International Arts Festival

Sydney Festival
Campaign Name: This is Our City in Summer
On Display: December 2012/January 2013
Distribution: Sydney in 150 venues

“We aim to get high levels of brand exposure between October and January, and the banners helped us get into locations we otherwise couldn’t have reached as prominently. Next year we will work harder to align the branding of our cards with the branding on the banner, to clarify which of the cards in the stand belong to us.” Tina Walsberger, Head of Marketing and Customer Services – Sydney Festival
