“We have used Avant Card before and had a good result in terms of pick-up. It was because of previous results that we chose to use Avant Card for a Mini-Mag,” says Lynelle Dudman, Director of Community Engagement, Kingswood College.
“We would use Avant Card again as it gives us exposure to an audience whilst in a relaxed setting, where conversations about schools tend to happen.”
About the campaign
10,000 Mini-Mags were distributed through cafes & bars, arts & culture venues and high schools in the Avant Card venue network throughout Melbourne from 4 February 2015.
“Due to the lead time of recruitment from awareness to application to an enrolment, it’s hard to accurately track the success of this campaign, but anecdotally we have had a great response from the Mini-Mag and the actual creative which we are continuing to use throughout the year.”

The beautifully designed and well-crafted Mini-Mag clearly outlines all aspects of the 125-year celebration and what Kingswood College is all about.
“Our design agency Paoli Smith designed the creative and it has been an incredibly popular design with our various audiences. The events were planned by the Community Engagement team at Kingswood College with the main aim of celebrating and bringing recognition to 125 years of education at Kingswood College.”
